Wines of Priorat
Besides doing trekking and the different routes and excursions one can practice in the valleys, natural parks and mountains of the region, one of the most appreciated activities is the tasting of wines.
El Priorat is the most outstanding wine zone of Catalonia due to the geological charactheristics of the soil of the vineyards. It is possible to do thematic itineraries through the different wine cellars that are located in nice towns such as Cornudella de Montsant, Falset, Ciurana, Marçà, Masroig, Guiamets or Capçanes. They use to be buildings of modernist style. That means that besides of being a delightful experience, it is a further way to know the history and the art of this Catalan zone.
